Shooting in the rain August 11, 2008
Shooting in the wind and rain is always stressful – equipment must be protected – safety is a bigger concern – but I wouldn’t trade it.
The weather, as a common enemy, helps quickly break the nervous tension between photographer and subject. Being pushed outside my comfort zone is where truly unique images come from.
I choose not to work in a studio – I choose the rain.
Headed to a senior shoot August 8, 2008
Had to get to the post office by 5ish – so I’ll be way early for my 6pm shoot.
Senior portrait season is beginning – this one’s at priest point park in Olympia – I like priest point park
Here’s the passenger seat in my car – I have a hard time keeping my car clean LOL you can see cameras, work gloves, a bag of coffee beans and the packaging from my bluetooth headset ((been floating around my car for weeks!)
No clouds today dangit!!
