Party at Aunt Sue’s August 17, 2008
My Aunt Sue got married last winter – and not very many of us made it to the wedding! I didn’t even hear about it… So she ,and her new husband Louie, threw a summer party to celebrate. It was fun
The slip and slide was a huge hit
Shooting in the rain August 11, 2008
Shooting in the wind and rain is always stressful – equipment must be protected – safety is a bigger concern – but I wouldn’t trade it.
The weather, as a common enemy, helps quickly break the nervous tension between photographer and subject. Being pushed outside my comfort zone is where truly unique images come from.
I choose not to work in a studio – I choose the rain.

Sometimes twice.

Fixing things…. Do you like to fix things?
I do – I have a knack for it – cars, computers, printers, whatever – as long as it’s mechanical, I’m not a wood worker – as least not yet, but I’m not ruling it out, I bought an issue of Fine Woodworking magazine at Costco the other day…
